Refund Policy

1. No Refunds

All purchases made on Watchling are final and non-refundable. Due to the nature of our digital monitoring services — which are delivered instantly and provide immediate access to our infrastructure — we are unable to offer refunds for any subscription payments, plan upgrades, or one-time charges.

2. Why We Don't Offer Refunds

Watchling is a digital service that begins monitoring your websites, servers, and APIs immediately upon activation. Because the service is consumed in real time (monitoring checks, alert delivery, data storage, and server resources are provisioned on your behalf from the moment of purchase), it is not possible to "return" the service once delivered.

3. Free Plan — Try Before You Buy

We offer a generous free plan so you can evaluate Watchling's features, interface, and reliability before committing to a paid subscription. We strongly encourage all users to take advantage of the free plan to ensure Watchling meets your needs before upgrading.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:

• Your paid plan benefits will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
• You will not be charged for subsequent billing cycles after cancellation.
• No partial or prorated refunds will be issued for unused time remaining in the current billing period.
• After your billing period ends, your account will automatically revert to the free plan.

5. Plan Changes

If you upgrade your plan, the new rate will take effect immediately and you will be charged the difference on a prorated basis. If you downgrade, the change will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. No refunds or credits are issued for downgrades.

6. Service Disruptions

While we strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for our monitoring infrastructure, temporary service disruptions do not qualify for a refund. In the event of a prolonged outage (exceeding 72 continuous hours), we may, at our sole discretion, offer service credits to affected users. Service credits are applied to future billing and have no cash value.

7. Billing Errors

If you believe you have been charged in error (e.g., a duplicate charge or an incorrect amount), please contact us within 14 days of the charge at [email protected]. We will investigate and correct any verified billing errors promptly.

8. Exceptions

Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis only under the following exceptional circumstances:

• You were charged after cancelling your subscription due to a system error.
• Your account was charged without your authorization (fraud).

In such cases, please contact us immediately with relevant documentation.

9. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account pending resolution. We encourage you to reach out to our support team first — we are happy to assist with any billing concerns.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email. Continued use of Watchling after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
